Commonly Asked Questions About Health & Safety

Do you treat all genders?

I sure do! All genders and all bodies are welcomed and encouraged to come to Every Body, as it is an inclusive, safe, and welcoming place for everyone. I am proud for holding a gender-neutral service menu.

I want to book a service with you, but I am embarrassed because I am not at my best.

I’m not here to judge your image, or to have second thoughts about it. I am here to help you boost your confidence. Every Body is a no-judgment zone, so come as you are!

What is your policy regarding decency?

As a trained professional esthetician, I am committed to producing a safer and more inclusive space for anyone who steps through my door. Instances of discrimination, racism, misogyny, or aggression are not tolerated and result in the treatment being stopped immediately with the full cost of the invoice to be paid. The purpose of this is not to penalize, but to create the healthy boundaries I need to protect decency, and to be decisive with egregious behavior.

What if I see you, my esthetician and waxer, out in public?

Confidentiality is highly prized for me, so don’t run and hide! I won’t announce to the public that you get waxed or whatsoever, so do not fret. Do what you feel comfortable with. I’ve got your best in mind and would be okay if you keep it simple and just say hello or introduce me as “an old friend” and carry on a full-length conversation if you’d like.

Do I have to wear a mask when I get to Every Body?

As of April 1st, 2023, following updated governance mandates, masks are not required for my guests. I encourage everyone to personally do what brings them peace of mind.

I am feeling a little bit unwell. What shall I do?

If you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms (fever, chills, sore throat, shortness of breath, coughing, sneezing), or believe you may have been exposed to Covid-19, please cancel your appointment and follow the directions of your healthcare provider. When it is safe for you to reschedule, I will be happy to get you in.

What are your sanitation practices and policies?

At Every Body, sanitation is extremely important to the integrity of the services I offer and I’ve always been about clinical cleanliness. It is my job to provide you a comfortable and safe environment and treatment, therefore not only do I keep up to date with my Barbicide® Certifications, but also I adhere to the most stringent hygiene standards and practices:

  • Extra time is added in between reservations for deep cleaning of the treatment room and high-touch areas (restroom, door handles, etc).
  • I clean and disinfect all surfaces, equipment, and seating thoroughly with medical-grade disinfectant, and table paper is disposed of and replaced after each use.
  • Anything that can’t be sterilized is tossed away.
  • I wash and sanitize hands before, and after each appointment.
  • Before each service, I always wear a fresh pair of disposable powder-free and latex-free vinyl gloves and a face mask.
