6 Things I Want You to Know Before You Wax

If you are up for a wax, there are a few things I want you to know to ensure each appointment is an experience you look forward to!

1. Safe and Judgement-Free Zone

Are you worried about what I might think about your appearance, preferences, and choices? Well, don’t! My studio is a safe and inclusive space for everybody (and every body). I am not here to judge you. I am here to make you look and feel better! However you identify, and no matter what your shape and size, you are always safe and respected at Every Body!

2. Your Body - Your Choice

Body hair is natural. There’s no wrong choice when it comes to getting a wax or not. Whether you want it a full bush or a bare it all off, I am here to help make you feel like your best self. I mean, literally, wherever you are in your body hair journey, I support you.

3. Ask Me Those Questions

If you have questions about the procedure, the products, or the aftercare, don’t hesitate to ask me. Trust me, once you have your questions answered, it will be easier to relax throughout your appointment.

4. Come Prepared

What you do before your appointment matters! If you want your results to be smooth and long-lasting, there are things you should avoid before your wax, like sunbathing, working out, drinking alcohol, and shaving. Remember preparation is the key to good waxing!

5. Aftercare Is Important Too

The 48 hours after your appointment require extra care. One of the most important tips is to stay out of the sun and avoid excessive sweating. Believe me, your results are dependent on following the aftercare instructions.

6. Trust it To The Pros

Leave your hair removal job to a licensed esthetician. Waxing is a very safe method of hair removal if done correctly. Untrained waxing leaves room for error, and things could go wrong fast. Waxing casualties include, but are not limited to burns, bruised skin, and more. That doesn’t sound like the smooth look you were going for, does it?
